Youth Cheerleading
Ready to see your child light up with confidence? At Spirit Technique in Cordova, Memphis, TN our recreational youth cheerleading classes for ages 5–12 build strength, coordination, and character through safe, age-appropriate progressions. Students learn stunts, tumbling, and teamwork while being cheered on by coaches who make learning fun. Located right off Macon Road near Cordova Elementary, we proudly serve families from Cordova, Bartlett, and East Memphis.
What to Expect:
Classes include stretching, jump drills, stunt basics, and beginner tumbling—always safety-first and progress-driven.

Sparkle Squad
12-Week Competitive Cheer
Sparkle Squad bridges the gap between recreational and competitive cheer. Athletes learn full routines that include stunts, tumbling, jumps, and dance, performing locally at showcases and competitions. No experience required. Optional gear (t-shirt, bow & shorts).
Ideal for: Ages 6–12 ready for a team experience without the year-round commitment.
Focus: Confidence, commitment, and fun performances.
Red Squad
Half-Year Competitive Cheer
Red Squad introduces athletes to higher-level competitive cheerleading in a half-year format. This team trains advanced tumbling and synchronized routines for regional competitions.
Perfect for: Ages 7–12 who are ready to step up their skills and commit to a team.
Includes: 2 practices per week + 3–4 competitions.
Black Squad,
Full-Year Elite Cheer
The Black Squad is Spirit Technique’s highest level of training and competition. This year-round team focuses on advanced stunts, precision, and leadership — representing the spirit and excellence of our Cordova athletes.
Best for: Dedicated athletes ready for a serious, competitive environment.
