At Spirit Technique, our After School Program isn’t just a place to stay after the bell rings—it’s a thriving village where K–5th grade students receive academic help, engage in movement-based activities, and build character through consistent routines. To ensure the best experience for every child and family, please review the following program policies for the 2025–2026 school year.

📅 Program Hours & Pick-Up Policies

• After School Program operates Monday through Friday.

• Student Pickup begins at 3:15 PM.

• All students must be picked up by 6:00 PM.

🚌 Transportation Services for After School Program in Cordova, TN

Spirit Technique has partnered with a private transportation service provider to offer safe and reliable pickups from:

• Cordova Elementary

• Macon Hall Elementary

• Riverwood Elementary

The private transportation provider operates a background-checked, licensed, and insured 15-passenger van for school pickups. Parents will receive contact and onboarding instructions after registration.

NOTE: Families must select transportation as an add-on. Capacity is limited. Late transportation payments may result in suspended services.

💳 Tuition & Payments

• Families may choose weekly or monthly tuition plans.

• Registration is not complete until:

  • Waiver is signed

  • Tuition is paid

  • 2025–2026 After School Details form is submitted

• No refunds available.

• No transfers available.

• Missed days will not result in credit or discount.

🍎 Snacks & Meals

Spirit Technique will provide one daily snack for all students. Additional snacks, drinks, and light meals are available for purchase.

If your child has allergies or dietary needs, please send clearly labeled snacks and alert the program director during registration.

👕 What to Wear & Bring

Required Attire for Safety & Activity:

• Athletic wear (t-shirt, shorts, leggings, or leotard)

• Socks (required for trampoline use)

• Hair styled away from face

• Jewelry is discouraged

What to Bring (Optional but Recommended):

• Homework materials

• Favorite book or quiet toy

• Change of clothes (for accidents or active play)

• Water bottle

• Medical items (EpiPens, inhalers, etc.)

Label all belongings. Spirit Technique is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

🧠 Academic & Activity Structure

Children will rotate through:

• Homework Help & Tutoring

• Character-Building & Social Skills

• Movement Activities (Gymnastics, Ninja, Cheer, Trampoline)

Siblings may be grouped together or apart depending on age and group structure.

🧸 Behavior & Discipline Policy

We focus on positive reinforcement, redirection, and structured expectations. Students will be guided with care, consistency, and clarity.

• Minor issues = parent notification at pickup

• Ongoing or severe issues = daytime parent call

• Physical aggression or property damage = possible removal from program

💊 Medication & Illness

• No medications will be administered without written physician and parent instruction.

• Students must be 24 hours symptom-free or have a doctor’s note to return if exhibiting:

  • Fever

  • Sore throat

  • Cough

  • Rashes

  • Red or itchy eyes

  • Vomiting

🚪Sign-In / Sign-Out & Authorized Pickups

• Children must be signed out daily by an authorized adult, 18 years old or older.

• ID may be requested for unfamiliar contacts

• Only individuals listed on the registration form or added in advance may pick up a child

⏰ Late Pick-Up Fees

• Students picked up more than 5 minutes late will incur a late pick-up fee of

  • $25 for the first 15 minutes, 0-15 minutes

  • an additional $25 fee will be added for every additional 15 minutes late up to $200.

• After 3 infractions, your family may be required to switch to a program option with extended care

• After 120 minutes without contact, authorities may be contacted to ensure your child’s safety
